A vine like deciduous climber that thives with very little care. Twisting and twining over a trellis, a wall or through a tree.
Curious fragrant blooms are produced in May, followed (if cross pollination has occured by two different plants) by long pink/blue fruits. The seeds from inside make a tropical fruit flavour drink.
Can grow up to 20feet a year, but can be pruned hard each year to control growth. Can also be used as attractive groundcover.
