Anemone Margarette

The name Wind Flower is accounted for in several ways, one of which is William Turners statement " The flower never openth it selfe, but when the wynde bloweth". 
Large double bright pink showy open saucer shaped flowers, wave proudly and reliably above the maple like foliage from July through to November. Very easy going nature and great ability to thrive where others may struggle in sun or partial shade.  Slug resistant. An amazing trouble free plant that gives great colour throught the autumn. 
Fully hardy. Delivery July onwards.

May aggravate skin. Dislikes winter wet. Mulch in colder areas. In our experience they grow anywhere, dig away outside pieces if they become too big for the given area. Slug resistant. As a young plant, pot on in a sheltered shady area in your garden. Hardy perennial.

How hardy are our plants?

All our plants have a guideline temperature for how well they will tolerate winter cold.

Fully hardy perennials will withstand temperatures down to -15 °C (5°F) and often lower.
Hardy perennials are happy down to at least -5°C (23°F)
Half hardy perennials can withstand down to around 0°C (32°F)
And Tender perennials may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41°F)

Please remember that temperatures can vary significantly within quite a small area, and hardiness can be affected by soil, position and other factors.
