The name Wind Flower is accounted for in several ways, one of which is William Turners statement " The flower never openth it selfe, but when the wynde bloweth". Large pink showy open double saucer shaped flowers with yellow centres and sometimes pink reverse, wave proudly and reliably above the maple like foliage from July through to November. Very easy going nature and great ability to thrive where others may struggle in sun or partial shade. Slug resistant. An amazing trouble free plant that gives great colour throught the autumn. Fully hardy.
