Aster amazing Collection

Hurry only available whilst stocks last.

Arriving fashionably late in the garden calendar are the fully-hardy Asters. They belong to a massive 1000 + genus which ensures there is an Aster for everyone. They are exceptionally easy to grow, although they tend to thrive in sunny sites with free-draining, fertile soil. Their floriferous nature is bolstered by their hardiness and the flowers are super rich in nectar so they are brilliant choices for any wildlife garden.

Plant Hardiness

How hardy are our plants?

All our plants have a guideline temperature for how well they will tolerate winter cold.

Fully hardy perennials will withstand temperatures down to -15 °C (5°F) and often lower.
Hardy perennials are happy down to at least -5°C (23°F)
Half hardy perennials can withstand down to around 0°C (32°F)
And Tender perennials may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41°F)

Please remember that temperatures can vary significantly within quite a small area, and hardiness can be affected by soil, position and other factors.
If in doubt please give us a call.

"Thank you ladies for your beautiful plants.
Praise also, for the Bulrush Compost, of which I have purchased 8 bags during the past six months. It is superb and my garden has flourished.
Bless you,
Kind wishes"
