Astrantia Moulin Rouge

One of the darkest Astrantias, with very dark red flowers surrounded by nearly black bracts. Maple-like green foliage is slug and rabbit resistant. Attractive to bees and butterflies and are good for cutting. Prefers moist soil in full or partial shade, although will tolerate drier conditions. Height 45cm (18”) spread 30cm (12”). Hardy herbaceous perennial.
