One of Alisons favourites once she bought one at Malvern Show last year and couldnt believe how long they flower!
Posies of tiny dark red flowers are surrounded by ruff-like bracts, making sprays of intriguing star-like blooms from May to the end of September, sometimes longer. Perfect for injecting colour in an understated manner and these new varieties have been specifically bred to flower longer than the more traditional. Excellent as dried flowers. Prefers moist soil in sun or part shade. Height 50cm (20”). Spread 30-45cm (12-18”). Hardy perennial.
