Also known as Japanese Painted Fern.  Though lush green in the first year, this fern will add an air of excitement to a shady area when it emerges in spring with broad silvery fronds, contrasting beautifully with the brightly painted vibrant wine red down the centre.  Low maintenance, will grow almost anywhere.  Prefers sun or part shade.  Height 45cm (18”).  Spread continues if left.  Hardy perennial.  Delivery April onwards.
