Campanula Octopus White

You can see how they got their name. From cushions of leafy green ground cover foliage, lantern-like buds appear on upright stems in late spring. Each bud opens to reveal narrow petals that curve, forming curiously octopus like blooms to hang from branches during the summer. Attractive to bees. Excellent ground cover. Prefers well-drained soil in part shade. Height & spread 45-60cm (18-24”). Fully hardy perennials.

How hardy are our plants?

All our plants have a guideline temperature for how well they will tolerate winter cold.

Fully hardy perennials will withstand temperatures down to -15 °C (5°F) and often lower.
Hardy perennials are happy down to at least -5°C (23°F)
Half hardy perennials can withstand down to around 0°C (32°F)
And Tender perennials may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41°F)

Please remember that temperatures can vary significantly within quite a small area, and hardiness can be affected by soil, position and other factors.
If in doubt please give us a call.

"Thank you ladies for your beautiful plants.
Praise also, for the Bulrush Compost, of which I have purchased 8 bags during the past six months. It is superb and my garden has flourished.
Bless you,
Kind wishes"
