Catalpa bignonioides Aurea (Indian bean Tree)

Young red leaves in spring become large lime green and heart shaped in summer to form a gently domed canopy. In July and August panicles of beautiful white trumpet shaped flowers nestle against the foil from which long green bean pods usually follow.

So easy to grow. Not fussy on soil conditions in sun or part shade. Eventual height 10m (30’) though Harriet's has only got to around 15’ in all these years. Hardy

"Thank you ladies for your beautiful plants.
Praise also, for the Bulrush Compost, of which I have purchased 8 bags during the past six months. It is superb and my garden has flourished.
Bless you,
Kind wishes"
