We all love summer daisies, so why not grow these autumn daisies to fill the garden with colour from mid-summer to late autumn when most other plants have faded away.
Unlike show chrysanthemums these plants are easy to grow and will produce hundreds of flowers forming a dome of everlasting colour to attract passing butterflies. Perfect for borders or pots. Prefer well-drained soil in sun or part shade. Height & spread 45-60cm (18- 4"). Hardy perennials. Supplied as young plants.

Additional Information

Dead heading may induce a second flowering. Protect Chrysanthemum with a layer of mulch if being kept outdoors during the cold winter months. Alternatively, you can transfer your pots to a greenhouse or similar environment. Water your plants regularly, especially during periods of dry weather. Feed Chrysanthemum just before the flowering period with an appropriate fertiliser until new buds emerge. Hardy perennial.

How hardy are our plants?

All our plants have a guideline temperature for how well they will tolerate winter cold.

Fully hardy perennials will withstand temperatures down to -15 °C (5°F) and often lower.
Hardy perennials are happy down to at least -5°C (23°F)
Half hardy perennials can withstand down to around 0°C (32°F)
And Tender perennials may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41°F)

Please remember that temperatures can vary significantly within quite a small area, and hardiness can be affected by soil, position and other factors.
