Discovered on a plant hunting trip, we instantly fell in love.
Your breath will be taken away by the sheer number of warm, lemon-yellow, double blooms that are produced from May to October. Extremely drought tolerant and attractive to bees and butterflies, you will be enjoying this burst of sunshine for many years to come.
Prefers well-drained soil in sun. Height & spread 40cm (16"). Fully hardy perennial. Supplied as bare roots.

Apply a generous layer of mulch during the colder months to preserve moisture levels and to protect the roots from frost. Coreopsis are relatively drought tolerant, however they should still be watered during sustained periods of drought. Deadhead to prolong flowering and prune back the stems during autumn so they are just above the soil level. Hardy perennial.

All our plants have a guideline temperature for how well they will tolerate winter cold.

Fully hardy perennials will withstand temperatures down to -15 °C (5°F) and often lower.
Hardy perennials are happy down to at least -5°C (23°F)
Half hardy perennials can withstand down to around 0°C (32°F)
And Tender perennials may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41°F)

Please remember that temperatures can vary significantly within quite a small area, and hardiness can be affected by soil, position and other factors.
