Coreopsis Grandiflorum Solar Dance

On a recent plant hunting trip, I was visiting well-known breeder Marco van Noort, and discovered a plant I fell in love with. My breath was taken away by the sheer number of warm, lemonyellow, double blooms and once Marco told me the flowering time was from May to October I just had to make sure you could experience this incredible beauty too.
Extremely drought tolerant and attractive to bees and butterflies, Solar Dance prefers being in well drained soil in sun. Being fully hardy you will be enjoying this burst of sunshine for many years to come. Height & spread 40cm (16").

Coreopsis are relatively drought tolerant, however they should still be watered during sustained periods of drought. Deadhead to prolong flowering and prune back the stems during autumn so they are just above the soil level. Hardy perennial.

Plant Hardiness

How hardy are our plants?

All our plants have a guideline temperature for how well they will tolerate winter cold.

Fully hardy perennials will withstand temperatures down to -15 °C (5°F) and often lower.
Hardy perennials are happy down to at least -5°C (23°F)
Half hardy perennials can withstand down to around 0°C (32°F)
And Tender perennials may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41°F)

Please remember that temperatures can vary significantly within quite a small area, and hardiness can be affected by soil, position and other factors.

"Thank you ladies for your beautiful plants.
Praise also, for the Bulrush Compost, of which I have purchased 8 bags during the past six months. It is superb and my garden has flourished.
Bless you,
Kind wishes"
