Large butter yellow flowers around 4" across, have a red centre which gradually increases so the flowers become ruby red as the summer warms then cools, hence the name Red Shift. No two flowers will be the same. Flowering from June to October on ferny foliage, they are extremely drought tolerant and attractive to bees and butterflies. Great for containers and borders. Prefers sun in well drained soil. Height & spread 45-60 (18-24"). Hardy perennial. Supplied as young plants.

Extremely drought tolerant. Attractive to bees and butterflies. Dead-head to prolong flowering. Great for containers and borders. Propagate by division in early spring. Hardy perennial down to minus 5, or la little lower providing the soil is very well drained. Tinkerbell Red and Solar Dance is fully hardy.

Fully hardy perennials will withstand temperatures down to -15 °C (5°F) and often lower. Hardy perennials are happy down to at least -5°C (23°F) Half hardy perennials can withstand down to around 0°C (32°F)
And Tender perennials may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41°F)
