Cornus alba 'Siberian Pearls'

Want to create a colourful winter display? Cornus Siberian Pearls is a strong and hardy choice. Admired for its remarkably long spring-flowering period and neat compact size, it becomes a wash of creamy pedicles in May. These later transform into striking clusters of blue-tinged, twinkling white berries, which are accentuated by deep maroon frost-induced leaves, and vibrant red stems.
Award winning, hardy Cornus trio picked to provide easy to grow extreme contrasting colours. Unrivalled, striking winter colour from the stems and leaves make Cornus perfect for beds when planted in groups or as centrepieces in pots. White panicle flowers appear from April to June, followed by white Fruits which birds love! Stem colours are more vivid when planted in Full Sun but will tolerate full shade and pruned to rejuvenate growth.

Plant Hardiness

How hardy are our plants?

All our plants have a guideline temperature for how well they will tolerate winter cold.

Fully hardy perennials will withstand temperatures down to -15 °C (5°F) and often lower.
Hardy perennials are happy down to at least -5°C (23°F)
Half hardy perennials can withstand down to around 0°C (32°F)
And Tender perennials may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41°F)

Please remember that temperatures can vary significantly within quite a small area, and hardiness can be affected by soil, position and other factors.
If in doubt please give us a call.

"Thank you ladies for your beautiful plants.
Praise also, for the Bulrush Compost, of which I have purchased 8 bags during the past six months. It is superb and my garden has flourished.
Bless you,
Kind wishes"
