Cymbalaria Muralis

A wonderful honey scent from this clever little plant throughout the summer.

Often found growing in walls or rocks, beautiful, lilac snapdragon flowers smile up at the sun with yellow mouths that entice nectar hungry bees, then as each bloom is fertilised, it turns away to find a crevice in which to plant it’s seeds. Scalloped, semi-evergreen foliage is great as ground cover for the front of borders or containers, happy by the sea too. Prefers part shade in well-drained soil. Height 15cm (6”) spread 30cm (12”). Fully hardy perennial. Supplied as young plants.

Plant Hardiness

How hardy are our plants?

All our plants have a guideline temperature for how well they will tolerate winter cold.

Fully hardy perennials will withstand temperatures down to -15 °C (5°F) and often lower.
Hardy perennials are happy down to at least -5°C (23°F)
Half hardy perennials can withstand down to around 0°C (32°F)
And Tender perennials may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41°F)

Please remember that temperatures can vary significantly within quite a small area, and hardiness can be affected by soil, position and other factors.
If in doubt please give us a call.

"Thank you ladies for your beautiful plants.
Praise also, for the Bulrush Compost, of which I have purchased 8 bags during the past six months. It is superb and my garden has flourished.
Bless you,
Kind wishes"
