Daphne odora Rebecca

Discovered in Devon by nurseryman Steven Watson in the 1980s, yet only recently available.
In January clusters of small buds open to reveal highly scented pink flowers through to March.
In our opinion Rebecca is the best Daphne for flower colour and fragrance with an extra wide creamy-yellow margin to the emerald-green leaves. She really will brighten up your garden all winter, spring and through to the end of summer..
Prefers well-drained soil in sun or part shade.
Height & spread 1.2m (4').

Plant Hardiness

How hardy are our plants?

All our plants have a guideline temperature for how well they will tolerate winter cold.

Fully hardy perennials will withstand temperatures down to -15 °C (5°F) and often lower.
Hardy perennials are happy down to at least -5°C (23°F)
Half hardy perennials can withstand down to around 0°C (32°F)
And Tender perennials may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41°F)

Please remember that temperatures can vary significantly within quite a small area, and hardiness can be affected by soil, position and other factors.
If in doubt please give us a call.

"Thank you ladies for your beautiful plants.
Praise also, for the Bulrush Compost, of which I have purchased 8 bags during the past six months. It is superb and my garden has flourished.
Bless you,
Kind wishes"
