Hardy Diascia for your patio pots and your borders, bred to give an exceptional display over a long period.

More robust than other Diascia with longer flower spikes, they will give a stunning display in containers and borders all summer long and into the autumn. 

Slug resistant. Prefers well-drained soil in sun or part shade. Height & spread 30-45cm (12-18”). Hardy perennials, (new shoots may be cut back by hard frosts but the crown will survive to -8°C).

Long flowering. Perfect for containers and borders. Slug proof. Cut back after each flush of flowers to encourage more flowering. New shoots may be cut off by hard frosts, but the crown will survive -8 degrees. Good idea to take semi ripe cuttings in summer as an insurance policy. Hardy perennial.

How hardy are our plants?

All our plants have a guideline temperature for how well they will tolerate winter cold.

Fully hardy perennials will withstand temperatures down to -15 °C (5°F) and often lower.
Hardy perennials are happy down to at least -5°C (23°F)
Half hardy perennials can withstand down to around 0°C (32°F)
And Tender perennials may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41°F)

Please remember that temperatures can vary significantly within quite a small area, and hardiness can be affected by soil, position and other factors.
