Geraniums were brought to Britain in the 16th century and quickly became the mainstay of the English garden. These new double varieties are hard to find but so easy to grow, there is at least one for every garden and they give so much back. Happy in borders and containers, amazingly floriferous throughout the summer, great groundcover, slug and rabbit resistant, drought tolerant, attractive to bees and not fussy on soil conditions in sun or part shade. Hardy perennial.
