Apply mulch in July and December when flowers are forming to give the plants a boost in nutrients. Strong sunlight all day may discourage the plants from flowering. All parts may cause stomach upset if ingested. Contact with sap may cause skin allergies. Deer resistant. Propagate by division after flowering. Fully hardy perennial.
All our plants have a guideline temperature for how well they will tolerate winter cold.
Fully hardy perennials will withstand temperatures down to -15 °C (5°F) and often lower. Hardy perennials are happy down to at least -5°C (23°F) Half hardy perennials can withstand down to around 0°C (32°F)
And Tender perennials may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41°F)
Please remember that temperatures can vary significantly within quite a small area, and hardiness can be affected by soil, position and other factors.
If in doubt please give us a call.

The last order of Helleobrus was really super - strong healthy plants perfectly packed and are, I'm happy to say, doing very well.

"Thank you ladies for your beautiful plants.
Praise also, for the Bulrush Compost, of which I have purchased 8 bags during the past six months. It is superb and my garden has flourished.
