A sweet scent will fill your early spring garden from long lasting, weather resistant blooms that open fully, even on overcast days, then die back to pass the baton to your summer plants. Good for cutting. Perfect for rockeries or naturalising under trees. Prefer well-drained soil in sun or part shade. Height 20cm (8”). Spread 10cm (4”). Fully hardy bulbous perennial. Drought tolerant. Once the flowering period has ceased, leave the foliage in place as the remaining leaves will gather sunlight to create a vital food source to strengthen these plants for the future. Foliage may be removed during their dormant period. Propagate by divison in autumn. All parts may cause severe discomfort if ingested, contact with the sap may irritate the skin. Fully hardy perennial.

Fully hardy perennials will withstand temperatures down to -15 °C (5°F) and often lower.
Hardy perennials are happy down to at least -5°C (23°F)
Half hardy perennials can withstand down to around 0°C (32°F)
And Tender perennials may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41°F)

Please remember that temperatures can vary significantly within quite a small area, and hardiness can be affected by soil, position and other factors.
