Beautiful, instantly recognisable plum-purple blooms with delicate veining and distinctive yellow and white markings on the falls.

A sweet scent will fill your early spring garden from long lasting, weather resistant blooms that open fully, even on overcast days, then die back to pass the baton to your summer plants. Good for cutting. Perfect for rockeries or naturalising under trees. Prefer well-drained soil in sun or part shade. Height 20cm (8”). Spread 10cm (4”). Fully hardy bulbous perennial. Supplied as 5/6 cm bulbs.

Drought tolerant. Propagate by divison in autumn. All parts may cause severe discomfort if ingested, contact with the sap may irritate the skin. Fully hardy perennial.

And Tender perennials may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41°F)
