Additional Information

Fluffy scented flowers smother evergreen foliage. Happy in border and container. Propagate by layering or seed in spring, or by semi-ripe cuttings in late summer. Although classed as hardy using RHS guidelines, in trials it has survived below -5oC if planted in a sheltered spot. However, in long periods of extreme cold we would suggest it is given extra protection. The frosts may take the leaves but they soon regenerate in Spring.

Plant Hardiness

How hardy are our plants?

All our plants have a guideline temperature for how well they will tolerate winter cold.

Fully hardy perennials will withstand temperatures down to -15 °C (5°F) and often lower.
Hardy perennials are happy down to at least -5°C (23°F)
Half hardy perennials can withstand down to around 0°C (32°F)
And Tender perennials may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41°F)

Please remember that temperatures can vary significantly within quite a small area, and hardiness can be affected by soil, position and other factors.
If in doubt please give us a call.

"Thank you ladies for your beautiful plants.
Praise also, for the Bulrush Compost, of which I have purchased 8 bags during the past six months. It is superb and my garden has flourished.
Bless you,
Kind wishes"
