Papaver Pink Ruffles

Patty’s Plum is one of the most well-known and best-loved Papaver. We believe we are the first to be able to offer Patty’s ruffled sister, which has double ruffled plum flowers with fringed edges. This compact variety has been specifically bred not to flop like its larger cousins. Flowering from late spring to mid summer. Rabbit, slug and deer resistant. Prefers well-drained soil in full sun. Height 75cm (30”). Spread 40cm (16”). Hardy perennial.

Plant Hardiness

How hardy are our plants?

All our plants have a guideline temperature for how well they will tolerate winter cold.

Fully hardy perennials will withstand temperatures down to -15 °C (5°F) and often lower.
Hardy perennials are happy down to at least -5°C (23°F)
Half hardy perennials can withstand down to around 0°C (32°F)
And Tender perennials may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41°F)

Please remember that temperatures can vary significantly within quite a small area, and hardiness can be affected by soil, position and other factors.
If in doubt please give us a call.

"Thank you ladies for your beautiful plants.
Praise also, for the Bulrush Compost, of which I have purchased 8 bags during the past six months. It is superb and my garden has flourished.
Bless you,
Kind wishes"
