Penstemon Collection

The late Edward Wilson has received many awards and accolades for his breeding of Penstemon. We are very highly honoured to be able to offer this special collection to Sun Readers to celebrate the marriage of William and Kater.

If you visit Highgrove you will see Prince Charles grows Pensham Penstemon in his garden as they flower from May to November and often longer over semi-evergreen foliage. Attractive to bees whilst resistant to slugs and other garden pests. Unfussy on soil conditions in sun or part shade. Happy in borders and containers, they just have everything. Height 80-100cm (32-40"). Spread 45-60cm (18-24”). Hardy perennial.
