Discovered growing at the Bottom Of a Porch (BOP) in Santa Margarita, hence the name, where apparently often run over by children on bikes the plant survived. Open mouthed flowers in shades of bright sky blue, fade to reddish purple and smother the foliage from late spring to late autumn. Drought tolerant and so easy to grow in borders and containers. Attractive to bees and slug resistant. Happy in most soil conditions in sun or part shade. Height & spread 45-60cm (18-24”). Hardy perennial.
