Additional Information

Rehmannia are low maintenance plants and are easy to care for once established. You should deadhead plants to encourage a further set of blooms. Apply a generous layer of mulch to the base of your plant to retain moisture levels whilst suppressing weeds. They will still flower quite well in shade and can even handle dry shade. In full sun, they will need extra water during hot spells.Poorly draining soil can also cause problems during the colder winter months.

Plant Hardiness

How hardy are our plants?

All our plants have a guideline temperature for how well they will tolerate winter cold.

Fully hardy perennials will withstand temperatures down to -15 °C (5°F) and often lower.
Hardy perennials are happy down to at least -5°C (23°F)
Half hardy perennials can withstand down to around 0°C (32°F)
And Tender perennials may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41°F)

Please remember that temperatures can vary significantly within quite a small area, and hardiness can be affected by soil, position and other factors.
If in doubt please give us a call.

"Thank you ladies for your beautiful plants.
Praise also, for the Bulrush Compost, of which I have purchased 8 bags during the past six months. It is superb and my garden has flourished.
Bless you,
Kind wishes"
