In Latin ‘salvare’ means to heal or save, and Salvias have been used over the generations to cure many ailments.
Large open mouthed blooms adorn scented foliage throughout the summer months, wonderful planted near a path or seat where the fragrance will be released when the foliage is disturbed. Height 50cm (20"). Spread 45cm (18”). Prefers well drained soil in sun or part shade.
