Discovered growing outside the rooms of a deeply spiritual Mexican maid, she may not have approved of the name ‘Hot Lips’! In May, the outrageously beautiful pursing white flowers with red tips appear. In summer as the nights get warmer there becomes a mixture of all red, all white and bicoloured flowers on the same bush. Then in autumn the flowers will again become bi-colour whilst the foliage turns dark wine red. Sweet fragrant foliage and attractive to butterflies. Prefers full sun, very drought tolerant. Height & spread 90cm (36”). Half hardy perennial.
