Scabiosa incisa Kudo

Hundreds of dusky pink pincushion-like flowers are held on wiry stems, swinging in the breeze over neat well-behaved mounds of foliage from spring to first frosts.
Excellent for cutting and drying, and loved by bees and butterflies.
Prefers well drained soil in sun or part shade. Height & spread 40-60cm (16-24"). Fully hardy perennial. Supplies in 9cm pots from April onwards.

Dead head regularly to promote further flowering. Divide and replant in fresh soil every 2-3 years to maintain vigour. Attractive to bees and butterflies. Hardy perennial.

Fully hardy perennials will withstand temperatures down to -15 °C (5°F) and often lower.
Hardy perennials are happy down to at least -5°C (23°F)
Half hardy perennials can withstand down to around 0°C (32°F)
And Tender perennials may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41°F)

Please remember that temperatures can vary significantly within quite a small area, and hardiness can be affected by soil, position and other factors.
