Tall supporting stems sway in the breeze, entwining to form an entangled web-like structure, while frothy looking flowers provide long lasting summer colour above aquilegia-like foliage.

Attractive to bees and butterflies. Does well on the edge of woodland type areas. Propagate by seed when fresh in autumn, or by division in spring. Fully hardy perennial. Bare roots take up to 6-8 weeks to appear after planting.

Fully hardy perennials will withstand temperatures down to -15 °C (5°F) and often lower.
Hardy perennials are happy down to at least -5°C (23°F)
Half hardy perennials can withstand down to around 0°C (32°F)
And Tender perennials may be damaged by temperatures below 5°C (41°F)
