(White Forsythia) A native from a small area of central Korea. It is endangered in the wild as it is regarded as a medicinal plant with properies similar to Witch Hazel and gets illegally harvested for the black mariket trade in Korea.
A deciduous shrub related to Forsythia but with white flowers! In late winter/early spring purple buds appear on bare branches and open into small white petalled almond scented flowers. Green foliage follows shortly afterwards.
Prefers full sun though will tolerate part shade. Not fussy on soil condition but not too dry.
