Originally known as soldiers wound wart, after Achilles reputedly used it to heal his soldiers wounds after the siege of Troy. Plate like flower heads in yellow, to orange and red from May to October. Excellent for cutting, either fresh or dried. Tolerant of drought and heat. Deer and rabbit resistant.
