Actaea Simplex Brunette AGM

Striking ferny dark burgundy almost black foliage creates drama at the back of any border.  Spikes of scented, white, tinged pink bottlebrush like flowers reach for the skies from August until autumn creating a feast for every butterfly and bee in the neighbourhood.  After flowering attractive lime green seed pods are formed.  Deer resistant.  Easy to grow, prefers moist soil in part or full shade.  Height 150cm (60”).  Spread 60cm (24”).  Hardy perennial.
