Many small blooms form huge globes up to 10” across appear in late spring on strong stems so no staking required. The roots and leaves are said to have a mild taste of onion and can apparently be eaten either raw or cooked, and the flowers can be used in salads, though we have not tried them. Attractive to bees and butterflies. Rabbit and deer resistant and said to repel moles. Good for cutting. Height 90-120cm (36-48”). Spread 30cm (12”). Hardy perennial.
