Amarcrinum howardii

Like all good children, Amarcrinum take only the best attributes from both parents.  Sweetly scented like Amaryllis belladonna with the tidy habit of evergreen Crinum.  During late summer loose umbles of large, scented, pink funnel shaped flowers are held on stout stems, around 10 – 15 blooms on each.  Prefers well-drained soil in full sun.  Deer resistant.  Height 60-80 cm (24-32”).  Spread 15cm (6”).  Hardy down to around -5oC. 
Each bulb is 20-24cm circumference.
