Amsonia tabernaemontana

Having seen this exquisite plant growing in Beth Chatto’s garden we could not resist! Graceful almost rounded clusters of starry blue flowers appear in spring and summer over clumps of willowy dark green foliage. Easy to grow and trouble free, creating a carpet of foliage and flower to suppress the weeds. Excellent for cutting. Height 60-90cm (24-36”). Spread 45cm (18”). Prefers well drained soil in sun or part shade. Hardy perennial.
