Large 3” bell shaped rich royal purple flowers have a sweet fragrance when fully open from July to the first frosts. Prefers full sun in well-drained moist soil. Height 10m (33'). Spread 3m (10'). Tender perennial, but if kept above 7oC in a conservatory or heated greenhouse will act as a perennial. Can also be regrown from their seeds.
