A real true blue is hard to find for the garden. Tall spires hold a profusion of large, gentian blue ‘forget me not’ flowers start off a real blue then turn mauve blue with age during June and July. Attractive to bees. Prefers well drained soil in sun. Height 120cm (48”). Spread 45cm (18”). Hardy perennial. Delivery March/April and November 2009.

Verbascum Gainsborough AGM
Stately spires emerge in summer, with their many outward-facing pale primrose yellow buds which slowly unfurl to reveal their full beauty over many months. Grey green foliage in rosettes give such good anchorage they resist all but the strongest winds. Slug and rabbit resistant. Prefers poor, dry soil in sun or part shade. Height 150cm (60”). Spread 30cm (12”). Hardy perennial. Delivery March/April and November 2009.
