Coming from the Greek ‘Krokos’ meaning saffron and ‘osme’ meaning smell as when rubbed the leaves give a scent of saffron. This plant will really heat up your garden with many enormous blooms of fiery orange for three months from summer to autumn. Trouble free, easy to grow, slug and rabbit resistant and good for cutting. Prefers well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Height 90cm (36”). Spread 10cm (4”). Hardy perennial.
