The seeds of these plants are often described as grains of sand, in reality it is more like dust! For the seed to germinate and produce a plant in a 5cm pot usually takes between two to three years, which is why these plants often demand a high price. It then takes a further two years to fully appreciate the incredible flowers . The beauty will more than justify the time spent in anticipation as the 4” long slipper shaped flowers are held high on upright stems. Suitable for a shady or woodland garden and can be divided once established for a good return on your investment!
This collection comprises of one each of kentuckiense, flavum and reginae.

Supplied as 5cm pots, which should be potted on into a decorative pot and placed outdoors for a further 2 years. After flowering they can be transplanted into the garden. Full cultural notes will be provided.
