This Bodacious babe with her huge blousy blooms (up to 9” across) will blazon your borders with her bounty from summer to late autumn.  With strong stems they are perfect for cutting.  Modern varieties can be left in the ground over winter in well drained soil or grown in pots which could be buried into the border.  The whole pot can then be lifted and kept in the shed until the following spring.  Prefers well drained soil in sun.  Height 90cm (36”).  Spread 80cm (32”).  Tuberous perennial.
