If you think of yourself a novice gardener (and no-one knows it all!) please don’t worry as it is really not as difficult as you think.

Within each product description we give an idea of where the plant likes to be, eg sun, shade or damp ground, as position is really key.

Our plants will arrive on your doorstep with full, easy to understand cultural instructions. But if, by any chance you don’t understand anything or have any queries, please just give us a ring and we will be delighted to help.  Believe me, no question can be too daft!

Here at Hayloft, as well as offering some old favourites we continually search and keep regular contact with these breeders so that you can be one of the first to grow these new introductions.

I'm Harriet’s daughter and a physicist. I have worked at Hayloft as long as I can remember, growing with the company, but having completed my degree at University I came back to join the team full time. I have not got much of a garden but I do like to help my sister in hers, and I love gardening in containers.
For many years now, I have had three plants that I simply MUST have in my summer garden. The Chocolate Cosmos and Heliotrope have a most mouth watering scent, whilst the Venidio are just the most amazing plant for flower power.  My favourite perennial is the Macleaya, adding height to a small garden with blooms that look like the most fabulous feather dusters.
