Epimedium are also known as Yang tonic, the leaves can apparently be used in tea which when drunk will give a warm almost euphoric effect. Evergreen ‘Bishops Mitre’ shaped leaves with brown markings form a dome beneath a myriad of starry flowers that appear in the spring and stay until June, starting white pink and turning purple. Slug resistant. Height 40cm (16”). Spread 30cm (12”). Prefers moist soil in part shade. Hardy perennial. Delivery March/April and November 2008.
