Closely related to the wallflower, this cottage garden perennial packs a punch from late winter as it bounces into action by producing beautiful dark burgundy buds from which many fragrant orange flowers glow until early summer. Trimming the spent flowers will encourage a second flush of blooms. Great as cut flowers. Slug resistant. Prefers well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Height 60cm (24"). Spread 35cm (14”). Hardy perennial. Delivery April onwards.
