Closely related to the Wallflower, this dainty cottage garden perennial provides a breath of fresh air from late winter as it bounces into action by producing many fragrant flowers. , which change to purple. Blooming until early summer they are great as cut flowers. Prefers well-drained soil in sun or part shade.
