If gathered at Midsummer, and placed on water Meadowsweet will give you information if you have been robbed. If it sinks, the thief is a man. If it floats, a woman.
A sacred herb of the Druids, and often arranged on the altar when mixing love charms or spells. Also used in spells for peace, happiness and love, the scent is said to cheer the heart.
