Geraniums were brought to Britain in the 16th century and quickly became the mainstay of the English garden. There is at least one for every garden, tall or short. Not to be confused with pelargoniums, which don't survive outdoors in winter.
Hardy Geraniums are one of the easiest plants to grow and give so much back. Amazingly floriferous, great groundcover, slug and rabbit resistant, attractive to bees and not fussy on soil conditions in sun or part shade. Slug and rabbit resistant, not fussy on soil conditions.
This plant has been given the Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society, for outstanding performance in the garden.
