Helleborus Double Ellen ™

Helleborus have often been described as natures gift to gardeners as they start to flower in the winter whilst most other plants sleep. In our opinion these beautiful rare and exclusive double varieties are more than a gift, they are natures miracle. Their natural beauty brought tears to our eyes and had us bouncing up and down with joy on first sight. The large, perfectly formed double dappled flowers grace the evergreen foliage and defy nature by surviving the cold. Helleborus have a magical reputation, Cornish folk plant them by their front door as in medieval times they were said to break bad spells and curses. Easy to grow in dappled shade with moist and well drained soil. Deer and rabbit resistant. Height and spread 35cm (14”). Hardy Perennial.
