An ancient plant, known of before language was written. Hemerocallis means ‘Beautiful for a day’, and even though each flower lasts a day, several blooms appear on each stalk and a well established clump with flower for many months. This variety has been specially bred to suit our European soil. Large, slightly fragrant, double, mahogany red blooms have a green throat and white edges over semi-evergreen strapped shaped foliage. Prefers sun or part shade in well drained soil. Height & spread 60-90cm (24-36”). Hardy perennial.
