Our familiar and native English Bluebell.
Flowering from April to May. Easy to grow in full or part shade.  Height 30-35cm (12-14").  
Hardy. Supplied in the green. Delivery March 2012. onwards.

Buying bulbs ‘in the green’
In the green means that the plants are delivered in spring, whilst they are growing.
For some plants it is a much more reliable way of achieving success than planting dry bulbs in the autumn.

Bulbs ‘in the green’ should be planted soon after arrival. If this is not possible maybe because of frozen ground they should be planted into pots.
The bulb should be planted submerged below ground level, with the green foliage exposed above soil level.
