Unlike other Hydrangea, Annabelle will reliably flower every year, even if the winter has been very cold, or if the plant has had a harsh pruning.
Large 'balls' of white flowers, over 10" wide are held high during summer and early autumn. The blousy flowerheads starting off white then fading into a pale green.
Prefers part shade in moist well drained soil.
Excellent in dried flower arrangements.
